Our door-to-door intermodal service is a combination of the best truck and rail
service available all billed under a single invoice. Intermodal is generally
used for shipments over 1,000 miles in and out of major metropolitan areas.
LDi has contracts and strong relationships with tier 1 rail providers
allowing cost effective direct service throughout North America. Drayage carriers
must meet several criteria including all regulatory requirements, on-time service
standards and insurance. Our customers regularly save 10% - 25% when converting
their full truckload shipments to our intermodal rail service.
